Bryan Bielefeldt...

Currently I am working as a freelance Graphic and Web Designer. I also offer Web Design and Development courses at my home in Waterbury.

During my enrollment at Western Connecticut State University I was employed as a part-time graphic and web designer. I have been working in
the design industry for 4 years now
and I still get excited about every new
job that hits my desk, so I think I may have found my passion.

I am a United States Army Veteran
with 2, one-year combat deployments,
and a combat parachute assault into northern Iraq. With that being said,
the pressure of a deadline fires my inspiration and drives my creative process with vengeance. The "heat" helps in my case and I wouldn't trade
it for anything.

ABOUT
typoglyphic studios

Our Goal

Our goal is to create successful marketing solutions that grab your client’s interest and make them want more! O.K your saying, right? How? Through the implementation of a well thought out design strategy, based around the needs of your business and your perspective buyers, consumers or clients via print marketing, web presence, SEO (search engine optimization) unique branding or demographic targeting. A good print design or web design will only go as far as the plan to get it out there. Our team at typoglyphic studios has over 10 years of branding and logo design experience, over 10 years of experience in print marketing and direct mailing services. We have over 5 years of web design and development success and we can help you create the same success for your business.

Topics to think about:

  • Design – your client’s first impression of YOU!
What do you want you perspective clients first impressions to be? Are you portraying your organization or business effectively using brand strategy designed for you, are your web guys giving your website the attention it needs?

  • Brand  – how the world sees YOU!
If you ran through the grocery store as fast as you could only buying what you needed what items would you choose? Why ask such a question, right? Mainly because subconsciously you will buy the items that stick out the most or that have the most brand recognition in your eyes. If your marketing team isn't designing and implementing your brand to most benefit you or your possible clients you might want to re-think where you are spending your money.

  • Marketing Strategy – a plan to promote your business.
Do you have a plan to successfully promote your business or organization that fully utilizes all the areas of marketing like print marketing, i.e. business cards, postcards, posters, letterhead or a stationary system and brochures? Do you plan to Market using direct mail services? We can help. Our experience designing unique print pieces that help you stand out in the pile of mail we all get is crucial to getting the face time you need with your current and potential clients.

  • Social Media Marketing – this one will make your head spin!
You have facebook right? How are you using it to promote your business or organization? Do you have a business page or a fan page? What about myspace, linkedin, twitter, foursquare and all the other ways to promote via social engine? I'm 30 years old with one foot in the new era and one foot in the old school, the ability for me to help in the successful use of social media marketing for your organization can improve your customers awareness of your brand as well as increasing your demographic to include a younger generation and those you may not be able to connect with.

  • Web Development – how Google sees YOU!
Are you currently struggling to get results on google? Let me guess you have 400 keywords in your meta tags and the are the same on every page right? WRONG! Your web programmer pulled the wool over your eyes! The knowledge of google trends needs to be important if you intend on generating any leads from your website. Do you know what conversions are? It's the buzz word of 2010 (yes, last year). if you aren't tracking your conversion rate how do you know if what you are offering as information on your website is reaching the right audience, in the right way?

  • Implementation – how does it all come together?
Implementation doesn't end when your site goes live or your print piece is stapled up or sent out. Implementation should include the tracking of your investments return. You need to have the knowledge of internet tools such as google ad words, webmaster tools, analytics, keyword tracking, website optimizer, news and events updates, link building etc... There's more where that came from. Our implementation strategies usually include you (the most important part of our business), and training you to be successful in the use of such tools.

Bryan Bielefeldt

Q: Why graphic and web design?
A: Every design is a challenge with it's own direction and experiences.

Q: What inspires you most?
A: The ability to learn something new every day.

Q: Have you had any of your design work flop?
A: Of course, but it's what you take from the experience that will make you a better designer.

The real issue is not talent as an independent element, but talent in relationship to will, desire, and persistence. Talent without these things vanishes and even modest talent with those characteristics grows.

typography

Our language in written form is beautiful and illustrative in and of it self. However the love of type alone is is not enough, as a designer you need to have an intimate understanding of what type is, what it's working parts are, and proper usage. Also the ability to manipulate type and even design new type is critical to conveying a message to the right audience!

web

As a design professional it is my responsibility to know when and where to implement, design and develope, "New Age Media" marketing techniques for the client. The ability to both design and develope stand alone websites in an ever changing and continuously evolving era in technology is instrumental to the success or failure of business.

vector

A good understanding of the use of vector art is an essential part of digital and print design. Having a toolbox full of techniques is integral to a designers ability to utilize tools such asAdobe Illustrator.

print

During my time at Western Connecticut State University and experience in the Publication & Design Department I designed, produced and implemented many of the theater departments print marketing material along with numerous advertisement campaigns.

photog

In design, the use of photography is some times second in importance behind the "Vision", implementation of resources, knowledge of equipment and ability to direct! While working at WCSU I was given the chance to direct shoots, implement my own photos and collaborate with great photographers. Priceless...
